History

Created by investors, for investors.

Inderes was founded in 2009 to fulfill the need for transparent and reliable information on the financial markets.

Prior to the 2008 financial crisis and the subsequent collapse of research coverage by traditional banks, information on listed companies was reserved for a handful of big investors and covered only the largest companies. Inderes' commissioned research (company-paid analysis) model fixed the distorted market by providing high-quality research on all companies, meeting the information needs of all investors.

To further close the information gap between investors and listed companies, Inderes established its own platform in 2015 through which the company could distribute key information to a growing number of followers — to truly connect investors and listed companies. Inderes' media and distribution power have increased the liquidity of many small- and mid-cap companies', helping them to become the jewels of the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

In 2019, Inderes acquired Flik, a production company focused on the digitalization of investor events. The acquisition reinforced Inderes' position as a specialist in investor communications and the go-to platform for investors seeking knowledge about listed companies. In the ten years since its inception, Inderes had become one of the largest financial media in Finland, broadening the investment horizons of tens of thousands, from private investors to portfolio managers.

In 2021, Inderes launched a strategic initiative to build a unified service offering to meet the investor relations needs of listed companies. Today, the Inderes service is built on four cornerstones for investor relations: Equity Research, Events, IR Software, and Annual General Meetings (AGM).

In late 2021, Inderes was listed on the Nasdaq First North growth market. Now, as a listed company itself, Inderes operates as its own test laboratory for the investor relations products it offers.

In 2024, Inderes has more than 400 Nordic listed companies as customers of one or more of Inderes' products. The Inderes investor community has grown to 74,000 active users. The comprehensive product offering, together with significant distribution power, forms a strong basis for future revenue growth within the target group of Nordic listed companies. The growing customer base, in turn, leads to more and more essential content for investors.

To add — figures are from 2024 and should be refreshed (customer count, community size) — worth a yearly review.
